curATalk seminar series

Our next speaker within the curATime seminar series is Dr Muhammad Nabeel Asim from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern. Everyone who is interested is welcome to join his talk "Protein Protein interaction prediction in our AI based Genomics and Proteomics Sequence Analysis Framework" on Aug 08th, at 5 pm.

Dr Muhammad Nabeel Asim's research focusses on the development of tools for protein, DNA and RNA predictions. These tools have been combined in ECGPlat, an Efficient Computational Genomics and Proteomics Sequence Analysis Platform, available from the website of the DFKI (ECGPlat- DFKI). Within his lecture he will present specific AI-based applications for the prediction of protein protein interactions.

curATime - Cluster for Atherothrombosis and Individualized Medicine - is our collaborative cluster for future which we initiated with the University Medical Center Mainz, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and many more partners. The cluster is initially funded by the BMBF for three years. Within curATime, we want to reduce the incidence and impact of cardiovascular diseases, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
