We are looking forward to our next speaker within the curATime seminar series, Dr. Laura Bindila from the University Medical Center Mainz, Germany. We invite everyone to join her seminar about "Modern lipidomics approaches for clinical and preclinical research and profiling" on April 18th, at 5 pm.

For more than a decade, Dr. Bindila is heading the Clinical Lipidomics Unit at Institute of Physiological Chemistry at University Medical Center Mainz where she is currently focused on the discovery of lipids involved in the mechanism of various diseases. In addition, she is an active partner in the diAMs project of curATime in which she is bringing in her vast expertise in lipidomics.

curATime - Cluster for Atherothrombosis and Individualized Medicine - is our collaborative cluster for future which we initiated with the University Medical Center Mainz, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and many more partners. The cluster is initially funded by the BMBF for three years. Within curATime, we want to reduce the incidence and impact of cardiovascular diseases, which is the leading cause of death worldwide.
